Slice Consulting seeks to teach students valuable skills in the consulting field by providing pro bono consulting services to local partners dedicated to social change.
Our goal is to help nonprofits, businesses, and corporations in the Greater-Syracuse area and beyond expand, organize, and grow their organization through the various marketing, research, financial, and analytical services we offer.
We seek to employ students who have a genuine passion to make lasting change in local nonprofits and businesses. Members of Slice Consulting care deeply about the work they do and want to make a difference through their work in this organization. In Slice Consulting, we embrace challenges through dedication and perseverance, utilizing creative problem solving in our projects and throughout our professional careers.
Slice Consulting was founded as Syracuse University’s first and only professional consulting club to give students at Syracuse University a way to develop real world consulting experience during their undergraduate career. We hope to help students develop, refine, and expand upon their problem solving and creative thinking skills in order to succeed in any field or career after graduation.
With our collaborative growth mindset, members are constantly looking to improve themselves and the world around them. Through weekly professional development modules, career workshops, networking events, and feedback from clients and peers, members are always improving and seeking out new ways to learn.
Talented students are selected during our application process with regards to prior experience, certifications, and relevant coursework and placed on consulting teams relevant with their specialization. Using the valuable skills learned through courses here at Syracuse University, our consultants are able to combine business skills and their specializations, whether it be through a major, minor, or any other professional experience they have.
